Main Purpose:

The successful candidate will be required to source, manage and develop client relationships as well as to engineer process improvement on client engagements as well as within the Human Resources Services division of PwC Tax.

Manage a range of Immigration assignments (level 1 and 2 assignments) reporting to Managers and or Partners.
Quality control of work performed by junior staff.
Assist managers and senior managers on level 3 and 4 assignments).
Monitoring and Management of the delivery of services to clients in line with client expectations.
Direct liaison with clients and colleagues to provide Immigration compliance and Consulting Services.
Coach and mentor junior staff in compliance teams, and work closely with senior staff
Management of time sheets, billings, debtors and assignment budgeting within prescribed guidelines, reporting to management.
Understand, monitor and comply with firm risk management procedures.
Interaction with regulatory bodies such as Department of Home Affairs and SARS where necessary

Experience Required: 3 – 4 years

Competencies / Skills:

Admitted Attorney with 1-4 years post articles experience. Immigrations experience would be a plus.
Successful candidate must qualify as Immigration Practitioner within 6 months.
Good understanding and knowledge of South African Immigration (beneficial) and Tax laws (beneficial) and the application thereof to varied client problems;
Good business acumen and knowledge of various industries;
Strong financial management skills;
Ability to prioritise and work under pressure;
Excellent communication, interpersonal and staff management skills;
Excellent organisational and time management skills;
Customer focus driven – proven client relationship skills;
Ability to coach and motivate junior staff; .
Takes initiative on personal development.
