PRETORIA (TSHWANE SOUTH AREA)
Reports to
Area Manager
Summation
Responsible for general administrative tasks as well as the obtai
ning, consolidation and reporting of operational results
and information at a consumer Services Area Office.
Key
Responsibilities

Receive requests for and / or identify requirements for information/ documentation

Request, retrieve and distribute informati
on or documentation (electronic or written applications/ quotations/ enquiries/ orders/
invoices/ etc.

Scrutinise information and documentation for completeness / accuracy and do or arrange for the necessary improvements/
updating/ corrections where necess
ary

Create/ develop and maintain local data bases, filling systems, etc. for the organising, safe guarding and easy retrieval of
documents and information

Capture any non

electronic information in electronic format / electronic data bases or systems, where
necessary

Evaluate legitimacy/ validity of applications/ enquiries / complaints/ orders/ invoices/ etc.

Do financial calculations, prepare forecasts and prepare basic spreadsheets and graphs, where necessary

Write motivations/ responses, i.e. memorandums,
letters, etc.

Prepare presentations

Arrange, organise, associate and prepare documentation for approval and or dispatching

File / safeguard documents and information in filling systems and databases

Perform reception and secretarial functions when require
d

Arrange meetings and workshops

Compile daily and monthly reports i.e OSHA etc

Minute taking

Coordinate staffing activities
Minimum
Requirements

Grade 12 (NQF Level 4)

Any further qualification in an administrative or related field will be an added adva
ntage

At least 3
years’ experience
within a Consumer Services operational and/ or administrative environment
Any customer service or operational support related experience will be and added advantage
